How do you do strikethroughs for a whole sentence of words - or do you have to strikethrough the words individually

I saw on a thread where someone did a strikethrough of loads of words - just wondered if you had to do each word individually (which takes ages) or if you can do a whole load of words all at once.

Oh - get me! I can do it! I am quite the tech-genius!

I thought I'd tried this and it didn't work.

MNHQ obviously didn't know you could do whole sentences cause Justine just did the individual words on that button thread

I've only been here obsessed for 3 years and i still remember the shame of my first strikethrough failure. i was told i had to do each word, I'm sure.
