Thread appears in Active but...

This appears in Active (and is gaining posts) but when I click it all I see is:

This thread has been deleted by MNHQ because, let's face it, it turned into a bit of a bunfight.

I saw the apology [ Tech (MNHQ) Sun 18-Sep-11 13:44:40 ] about some "up and down-age" (which got some smutty responses!) but it is now clearly connected with that Pfffft!

(ie some drastic action was needed... I think Tech is in Florida, so it may have been a "restart the server" decision while waiting for his breakfast coffee to come up to temperature, forgetting we've been up for hours by then!)

I predict a new and enhanced App for the iPhone/ iPad / iPod Touch to "provide some additional features" ... (programmers used to say: that's not a bug - it's a feature !) - the feature in this case being a disconnection from the MN web server every 10 minutes, so the user cannot post forever and keep the thread "alive" by so doing.
