Ads in the middle of the posts [shock]

just notice half way through a thread in-between two posts an ad for groupon [yuck] mnhq no come on I think you have enough ads now!

Yes, I've just come on to moan about this.

For example, first thread I Opened today was a very sensitive thread in relationships. Two or three posts in there is an ad for bloody Groupon in the middle of the thread in between the responses - it looks terrible, and whilst I'm not usually one to have a grumble about changes (and have stuck to classic in silent protest Wink), I really think that this is a step too far.

screenshot here for those of you who haven't had this wonderful experience yet.

Seems like it may only be on the mobile version, which I use far more often than the desktop as I MN on the go.

Ah didn't see them on laptop now on the phone I have ads. I don't like them and I never click on anything like ads on my phone.
If I wanted to sign up for offers or buy something I DEFINITELY wouldn't do it on my phone where I'm not sure how secure it would be.
I reckon a lot of people would be the same. There are already ads on full version mn (not mobile) which people will click on if interested.
Ads on mobile version is surely pointless and takes up extra space on the already tiny screen.

Not happy at all. As I've already pointed out, it is completely crass to do this on sensitive threads. Really not on.

If you're so desperate for money I'd much rather pay to use the site than have to put up with ads in the middle of threads.
