Help mumsnet and win one of 2 great holidays

carriemumsnet · 29/11/2005 10:28

Folks are always asking how they can help mumsnet (which is lovely and much appreciated). Well we have two surveys running at the moment and it would be great (if you haven't already) if you could fill them in. It only takes a minute and you also stand the chance of winning a holiday.

The first is for parents of under 5's - so sorry to those with older kids. It's a survey about kids' eating habits and was commissioned by Humzingers. Filling it in automatically enters you into a competition to win a holiday with Canvas Holidays and you can find it here

The second is from an ad in Mums Best (the product review guide book available in Mothercare). There are only 3 questions - so it should take about 2 minutes and the prize is a really fantastic Mark Warner holiday with childcare.
They're looking now at response rates to this survey to see if they want to do the same again - so if you want more chances to win in the future (and you want to help mumsnet get a repeat booking!) please click here

Big thanks

Thanks - you should do this will all the comps as I often miss them and they are really good.

Snowindippity · 29/11/2005 12:38

Done! I've never one anything before so fingers crossed here!

Snowindippity · 29/11/2005 12:38

Er...that should be won, not one!

Caligyulea · 29/11/2005 12:51

Done

gomez · 29/11/2005 12:58

What a rubbish survey the first one is with it's presumption that everybody has problems getting their children to eat fruit and veg. Pah! And even worse that we all fret and worry about it.

Enid · 29/11/2005 12:59

didnt realise that about the mark warner comp

oh well they always sound pants holidays anyway

Enid · 29/11/2005 13:01

yes agree gomez I stopped at this one:

8 Has worrying about your children's diet ever:
a. Made you cry
b. Made you lose sleep
c. Made you argue with your partner

errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr no none of them but no place to say that

Caligyulea · 29/11/2005 15:32

I noticed that Enid.

And "What's the most ridiculous thing you've ever done to get your child to eat"

Er... bought a Humzinger product? (Didn't say that, btw)

LadyTophamHatt · 29/11/2005 16:21

did the first one but not the mark warner one.

5 of us too and apart from it being term time, I have vowelled never to travel abroad again with children when we only had ds1+2. There is no way, not in a million billion zillion years that I'd go on a plane and a holiday aboard now that were out numbered by the kids. It would be my idea of hell.

Sorry MNHQ.

LadyTophamHatt · 29/11/2005 16:22

Bloody hell, just read the first one prioperly.....that's abaord too!

dinosaur · 29/11/2005 16:23

Ds2 eats really well and loves most fruit and veg so I found the Humzinger's one a bit pointless.

And I answered no to the three questions on the MW one - do you think that will go against me ? Have you even been on a MW holiday? No Do you want offers from MW by email? No Do you want offers about MW from MN? No

(subtext: the only way I will go on a MW holiday is if I win this one!)

Hulababy · 29/11/2005 21:38

trace2 · 29/11/2005 21:50

julienetmum · 29/11/2005 21:51

Entered the first one but found it a bit biased (I have not done anything ridiculous to get dd to eat and she loves fruit and veg)

Didn;t enter the 2nd as dh is a teacher and can't take term time holidays

CliffRichardSucksEggsinHell · 29/11/2005 21:51

Hey Julienetmum - are you still doing Netmums? Did you used to be JulieF?

Pixiefish · 29/11/2005 21:55

done

Kaz33 · 29/11/2005 21:57

Sorry if I win I will take kids out of school, but just remembered getting married in June next year so might not be able to take it because no holiday

katymac · 29/11/2005 21:57

S'ok - no-one will really want the MW holiday - the way they have messed me around - I won't recommend them to anyone
