Why, when I have read through a full thread and go to post a message, does the site as me to log in (even though I am logged in!)...

and subsequently loses what I have written?!
I have wasted loads of time recently writing long posts only for it to be lost :(
It's only on this site I have issues, no other site kicks me on over passwords.
