I don't usually look at the main Mumsnet page, did so today and was very pleased to see a picture of a Muslim woman in hijab by the work section.
You virtually never see pictures of Muslim women in hijab/niqab unless it's to portray us as oppressed harbingers of terrorist doom and unBritishness, so a positive portrayal is lovely to see. Thank you.
