Why have you got rid of the 'exclude' option

Not often you come across FORTRAN users these days . I broke my teeth on Pascal and moved to FORTRAN 77 (with Systel). Some aeons ago though

Have flirted with C++, VB and that ilk in the past, but my most recent incarnations have been in the MIS arena - Oracle, SQL Server, Crystal, Business Objects

Oh, that's weird, I just posted on a thread yesterday that the most useless thing I'd learnt at school was FORTRAN.

Oh dear... too much rust getting in here, too, as it must have been Algol 66, and F 77... didn't want to shout FORTRAN (= Formula Transltion, for those unaware) after I had already done so for COBOL (which may still be in use in some big firms :) )

However, I bet you would regret being up-to-date if it meant no DC in your life!

HQ once explained that the techs didnt get the blue colouring. Cant remember the reason behind it - something about anyone being able to stick tech on their name or something. I believe i gave rise to a whole load of mnner techs who ran riot for a bit.

Val They are just chundering about different programming languages. All you need to know is that different languages in programming are used for different things. Basically what they have said is that they can tell different types database what to do and how to do it, they can get a website to run a database, and importantly get microsoft programs to work properally but telling it what they want it to do rather then let microsoft tell them how they want it to work.
