my screen is just clogged up with gazillions of posts about keeping yer shoes on in the house, like i care...

much as i like the fact that recently added-to threads bounce back up again, imo you are showing too many of the messages.

can't you just do the last three messages or somesuch and then have a button to take you to the last unread post? for people who are on more than a couple of threads, it's all too much like hard work to scroooooooooooooll down through so many posts. moan, chiz, moan etc.

Yey DamianTech - how come your posts don't have a coloured background? I'm sure your level of importance merits it? Or do I need to select a setting somewhere to have you in glorious technicolor?

Us techs are just too humble! There's no restriction on people having "Tech" in their nickname like there is for "Mumsnet", so we can't just highlight EveryoneTech and call it a day. With a proper fix it would work, but, well, we're just too busy looking after all the lovely Mumsnetters to worry about ourselves.
