Hi, what's happened to the 'topics' button? It used to be before 'customise' but seems to have disappeared.
Or is it just me

You can just click on the Mumsnet Talk title at top of page. I know this will take a little getting used to but promise you will get used to it in a shake of a lambs tail and we are trying to declutter a bit and not repeat functionality all over the place [spring clean]

I don't want to have to go right to the top of the page to click, it needs to be just where the other "navigate you way around the talk section" buttons are......
It's not right at the top - it's right above where you used to click - where it says Mumsnet Talk (above customise). I admit it is half a centimetre further for your mouse to travel. Sorry!

oh - I see where you mean.
Can't you change the "talk" bit next to the topic title (ie in this case Site Stuff to "Topic"..........then you won't have extra "Talk" links all over the page and we'll know whee it is easier

It would make it much more obvious (and I'll be as sensible as a I want thank you very much honey ) - plus if you're decluttering you don't need 2 talk links on the page......

If you press the purple seach button, (above the moon), it takes you to the same place as if you click the search part in the Mumsnet Talk box (below the moon).
All that moon talk has got me fancying a jaffa cake.
Anyone like to share??
You're not wrong there Chaos. We will no doubt get round to addressing that clutter in the near(ish) future

ahhhhh - not that IS annoying - went to threads I'm on.......nothing I wanted to look at - so had to scroll up to the top Talk thing as there's nothing near the normal navigation tools
Where it says Talk : Results of search we'll make the "Talk" a link to topics.

I totally agree. Not user friendly at all. I'll admit I am an old curmudgeon and still in Classic view, so it may be different in the new fangled version. But speaking as one who knows, you do have to assume that website users can work absolutely nothing out for themselves. It needs to be very obvious - that link isn't.
Maybe if it when black when you hovered - like in the nav bar?
