Why do I keep getting logged out? Something must have changed on my settings - what do I need to do to stay logged in?

GetOrf, is it still happening? Is it happening for anyone else?

As far as we know, no technical malfunctions issues our end today.

Tee2072 · 25/01/2011 20:55

Geraldine it happens to me if I log on at too many places, i.e. my laptop for work, my laptop for home, my PC and my iPhone. Then I get logged off. [MN really needs a supergeek emoticon]

Is there a limit to the number of places you can log on from?

GOML are you logged in at multiple computers?

GetOrfMoiLand · 26/01/2011 09:41

It's still happening. I only ever use the one laptop to log in from.

Is there a techy genius who can help me?

Hi GetOrf, have you done anything like block cookies on your computer? That would stop us keeping you logged in.

If not, you could try this: Log in, with the "remember me" checked. Then look at a few pages then log out. Close down your browser and open it up again. Then log in with "remember me" checked again, and see if it fixes it.

Cheers, Tech

Tech is GabbyLoggon!

GetOrfMoiLand · 26/01/2011 17:51

lolol Grin

I am SORRY tech but what the bloody hell are you harping on about Grin

Opening up, having a look at a few pages, then closing down is basically what I do on mumsnet.

Now talk to me about cookie blocking because I haven't a bloody clue what you mean.
