OP posts:
ChippingInSmellyCheeseFreak · 24/01/2011 23:42

Jacksmama - I was referring to the OP, but if you're offering...

ChippingInSmellyCheeseFreak · 24/01/2011 23:44

PLEASE Justine

You can see there is a LOT of support for the that I have been shamelessly begging for, for ages!!

MrsShrekTheThird · 24/01/2011 23:46

ChippingIn, d'ya want a really naff animated one or just one with its eyes heavenward?
The animated efforts are a bit too netmums twee for me Wink

BitOfFun · 24/01/2011 23:49

Doesn't the Hmm perform the eye-rolling function?

I am still putting forward the guest emoticon idea. One frivolous emoticon at a time- it will placate innovators and traditionalists alike.

MrsShrekTheThird · 24/01/2011 23:51

I tend to interpret the Hmm as a bit of a what-the-f... face

QueenOfQuotes2 · 24/01/2011 23:53

get rid of the bear and replace with a wine glass.

MrsShrekTheThird · 24/01/2011 23:54

or a bear holding a wine glass Grin

Jacksmama · 24/01/2011 23:56

:o

ChippingInSmellyCheeseFreak · 25/01/2011 00:12

BoF - not quite... you know when there is the 4 millionth thread about P&T parking spaces or someone is saying 'PFB said sausage today, isn't that good at 6 weeks' a good eye roll would do the job, but a hmm just seems too harsh and not quite right.... but yes, since the hmm arrived I've been less vocal about needing the eye roll... but it would still be good!

Jacksmama - too slow my friend, too slow. 14 minutes, the bottle was emptyyyyyyyyyy

Jacksmama · 25/01/2011 00:13

Sorry, I was busy drinking my own wine trying to find the sweary thread.

Jacksmama · 25/01/2011 00:13

Shall we open another?

ChippingInSmellyCheeseFreak · 25/01/2011 00:14

Sorry MrsShrek - I'd really really like the animated one as it really is the only way to get a proper eye roll - but selfishly would like it to be the ONLY animated thing as I agree with it being too netmums twee and if tickers ever come in - I'm out!

ChippingInSmellyCheeseFreak · 25/01/2011 00:15

Yeah - what do you fancy - I have a nice NZ Satyr chilled, some bubbles or a Rioja... you choose.

Jacksmama · 25/01/2011 00:16

Mmmm... bubbles?

Jacksmama · 25/01/2011 00:18

Next one's on me, I got a crapload of wine from DH and MIL for Christmas and the best one is a Malbec from Argentina called Layer Cake. Oh my dog, is it good!

ChippingInSmellyCheeseFreak · 25/01/2011 00:20

POP

Anyone else?

Your dog likes the Layer Cake? It sounds interesting!

Tortington · 25/01/2011 00:22

i want a pint glass Justine.

actually on another thread i suggested a 'roving' emoticon, so periodically from time to time you can replace an emoticon like the stupid useless fuck ugly bear with say a wine glass or a bottle of vodka Grin

Jacksmama · 25/01/2011 00:23

I don't have a dog :o

I started saying "oh my dog" instead of OMG when someone rather rudely pulled me up on "using the Lord's name in vain" sometime last year Hmm[cat's bum mouth emoticon]:o

LadyPumpington · 25/01/2011 00:24

What about a teacup emoticon?
Not to upset the wine party but the air is recently quite nutty so maybe that would be a good idea?

Tortington · 25/01/2011 00:24

i can't believe your using the dogs name in vain

Tortington · 25/01/2011 00:25

on the other thread someone suggested a medal emoticon.

i think that would be used a lot and is a fab idea

Jacksmama · 25/01/2011 00:28

A teacup would be good, too.

I second (third, fourth) a medal. In a suitably ironic colour, please,

For dog's sake!! :o

ChippingInSmellyCheeseFreak · 25/01/2011 00:35

Jacks - you should have told them to mind their own dog gammed business [bgrin]

Oh dear - thank god/dog/other item of worship that we can't all add our own - it would make netmums look dull Xmas Grin

MrsShrekTheThird · 25/01/2011 00:39

pmsl @: oh my dog

Jacksmama · 25/01/2011 00:56

It was pretty funny the next time I said it in front of the person who'd told me off about OMG. His face was a picture of a cat's bum :o

I was just thinking that if we got all the emoticons we've been asking for, we wouldn't need to type any more. You could probably do complete sentences in emoticons only.
