Hello Techs.

Please may I suggest 2 things to improve my mumsnet experience?

Please change the bookmark system - I can't hover when I'm on my notsofarking smartphone . A method similar to the report "button" would work fine for me thanks.

Also - I'm so very keen on The highlighting of the OP's posts throughout a thread it is rather lovely - please could you highlight mine as well to make scrolling through most clear for me please. I'll allow you to choose whatever colour pleases you.

pooka, if you hover your cursor in the white area on the far right of a post (under the "message poster" pale blue line) a dark blue rectangle appears, click on that and it will save that position in the thread. Next time you open that thread it should go straight to that bookedmarked place.

I like that MNHQ have got their own colour too!

nope... thanks chaos but no blue rectangle, despite hovering!
Plus, I don't have any colours, only blue/purple, whichever version of MN I choose under "customise".

Am I doing something wrong? Which version are you all using?

Ooops, alopogies, I didn't know it had to be activated.

Just seen someone start a thread on not liking it.

Now, I don't want to be selfish - maybe it should be an option and posters can customise if they want OP/MNHQ/their own posts to be highlighted?
