They have yards of stuff like this down the RH side:

Unable to find resource 'tb3/advertorial/$advertorial'

org.apache.velocity.exception.ResourceNotFoundException: Unable to find resource 'tb3/advertorial/$advertorial'
at org.apache.velocity.runtime.resource.ResourceManagerImpl.loadResource(ResourceManagerImpl.java:483)
at org.apache.velocity.runtime.resource.ResourceManagerImpl.getResource(ResourceManagerImpl.java:354)
at org.apache.velocity.runtime.RuntimeInstance.getTemplate(RuntimeInstance.java:1400

(That's just the top few, it goes on & on & on!)

Mine has just finished, no threats.

Igglystuffedfullofturkey · 22/12/2010 07:24

same here - telling me MN is a threat, dodgy site etc etc.

Has MN been hacked?!

Calyx · 22/12/2010 07:24

Just had the google warning that AIBU page I wanted to open (it was in active convos) has malware!

Seems to only be the AIBU ones but haven't tried any others yet except this one.

lal123 · 22/12/2010 07:25

I keep getting told mumsnet is an attack site too - can MNHQ sort this out??

BananaGio · 22/12/2010 07:27

not able to open Little Italy thread as says is attack site

LisasCat · 22/12/2010 07:27

Firefox has been redirecting me to a malware site for about half the pages I've tried to view this morning, from various different areas (AIBU, relationships, chat). I'm very naughty and have told it told ignore (or as I verbally told it "piss off and let me go where I want!"), but will get one of the nice IT types at work to run a scan before I log into my bank on this laptop again.

differentnameforthis · 22/12/2010 07:27

Not just AIBU. I have had it one behaviour/development & relationships.

differentnameforthis · 22/12/2010 07:28

I reported another thread about this, to being it to their attention quicker, haven't heard from them yet!

gorionine · 22/12/2010 07:32

Helen was on here a while ago so they are aware something is wrong.

squashedfrogs · 22/12/2010 07:38

I use a bookmark which takes me straight to active convos and had the malware detected screen on chrome when I used that. I've ignored it so I can get in to MN.

GlynistheMincePie · 22/12/2010 07:46

I've just had the 'attack page' flash when trying to access the thread about getting 6yr old to help aound the house...have hidden it now so can't remember exactly what it was called.

Hope it's sorted soon, I'm at home all day and fancied a day messing about on here have baking to do Xmas Hmm

FlightoftheCrimbleTree · 22/12/2010 07:56

Look at this Might explain it

lenak · 22/12/2010 08:15

I got the malware message when I tried to enter the site (after typing the url into my browser), not just when I tried to access a thread.

As soon as the site loaded my anti-virus software blocked an attack on my computer from newbadnews.info. Details here and here

The risk name was: HTTP Fragus Toolkit Download Activity with a High Severity.

Sounds like MN has a dodgy advert somewhere or is being attacked.

I would suggest that people check their anti-virus history to see if it has been picked up and if not, run a full scan.

SlantyBaws · 22/12/2010 08:21

Just reading that thread now, thanks flight

Ponders · 22/12/2010 11:15
