The fonts suddenly too small to read on MNmobile

What's happened, it's all so small it's totally unreadable. It's always fitted to the iPhone screen, now I have to massively enlarge it and scroll from side to side to read the posts.

Still unreadably small...

Readablish in font size on my iPhone 4 (though I am short sighted) but the clicky places (technical term eludes me) are now too small for my (not especially fat) fingers.

LilRedWG · 12/11/2010 16:53

Far too tiny on my HTC - was great until today. :(

4andnotout · 12/11/2010 17:12

It's back to being perfect on my iPhone :)

AitchTwoOh · 12/11/2010 17:24

oh well that's the main thing.

MrsVincentPrice · 12/11/2010 17:26

Hurrah, just right again.

AitchTwoOh · 12/11/2010 17:26

it is, for the record, joke-big on my android phone.

serenity · 12/11/2010 17:37

FWIW Now that it's big again, I can change the settings on my phone so the font is readable, but the actual words are positioned as if they were still huge,
so
I get
everything
going in
a line
down
one
side of
the
screen
which is so annoying that I just don't bother to use it. (Samsung Tocco Ultra)

ethelina · 12/11/2010 17:38

Perfect. Smile

are you having us on, ethelina?

gruber · 12/11/2010 21:39

Perfect on iPhone 4, thank you AdamTech!! Please keep it like this

AitchTwoOh · 12/11/2010 21:44

WTF? do you iphone people think you are the only MNers who should be able to use this service? Shock this is becoming like some class war satire, it's like you don't even read our posts...

ethelina · 13/11/2010 03:47

Que? I read and sympathise, but iPhone is wot I got...

OP posts:
AitchTwoOh · 13/11/2010 07:59

well so long as you're alright, jack, then don't change a thing...

misdee · 13/11/2010 08:04

i have a blackberry, just been using the mobile site, and have to scroll back and forth.i am technically inept though, so is there a better way?

AitchTwoOh · 13/11/2010 08:37

the better way for those of us not being directly catered to as non-iphone owners is to use the normal site, i think, misdee. certainly on my phone it's faster and easier than the shitey ENORMO-mobile site that only lets you read one word per screen.

misdee · 13/11/2010 08:47

Thanks aitch. Bit annoying when the font starts off as pin prick size and have to enlarge loads just to get it readable. Think it could bbe better but hey-ho

OhYouBadBadKitten · 13/11/2010 08:55

can we be greedy and rather have one app suits all, have an app for each operating system? on windows 7 I get one word per screen. Whilst I am grateful for not needing a magnifying glass, a few more words would be great!

PrettyCandles · 13/11/2010 08:58

I have no idea what this is all about! I'm using the main MN site, on my iPhone, as I have been for months, with no problems. I didn't even know there was a mobile site. The full site works beautifully on my 3GS ios4.1

ethelina · 13/11/2010 09:06

I second the app for each OS as this is obviously getting contentious. Much as I enjoy a MN ruck, I don't want to fall out with really quite nice people over silly technical stuff. Any chance of the proper apps before Christmas? Or are we looking at next year now
