Is MN running really slowly?

Facebook is ok. So is Hotmail. But MN is SO SLLLOOOOWWWWW.

Still slower than a sluggish slow thing here.

Hasn't been particularly fast all day AND it's conked out and flashed up that 'Offline for a moment' message several times.

Mine is slow too. Wish I'd seen this thread before I spent half an hour defragmenting the laptop etc. Have also been going offline today (just when I'd written particularly long and interesting posts Wink).

I thought I was the only one experiencing this - very very slow and that is in the office Blush where they have much better bandwidth that at home.

I've (well ok DP) downloaded cc cleaner to get rid of all kinds of rubbish on the computer, although it seems to have sped things up, MN is still slower than a big bag of slow things

Well, it was so slow earlier I had to give up and go away, I couldn't bear it.

Now it's back to normal speed BUT BUT BUT...

I'm getting stupidly large areas of white space next to the ads on pages 2+ of each thread. In other words, the OP's post on subsequent pages is appearing below the ads on the RHS - that's a lot of white space to scroll past!

C'mon tech - what have you been up to??
