but I must say I do not like that you now stay at the bottom of the thread after you post. You used to be taken to the top, which was much better as the links are right there. This way I have to scroll up!

Tee2072 it is a function of having bookmarking turned on. I'll talk to BookmarkTech about it next week.

It can tell I have because it should have been "be" instead of "me". It's very clever.

Okay, completely serious non-inflammatory question...
What do you have against the Mumsnet New style? "I don't like change" and the like is a legitimate answer but I don't really get it. What do you do when the leaves fall off the trees? "Oh I don't go to the park in the autumn because I don't like change". What about day and night? They look pretty different.
I will donate £5 to charity for any person who says "I don't like change", then tries Mumsnet New for a full month and then comes back and says "I tried it and I am changing back because I don't like change". [Oh and I reserve the right to delete links to this post.]

MaMoTTaT, you're on Mumsnet New.

(I promise I'm just trying to understand this, rather than pick a fight!)
@StealthPolarBear
It's threads Im On that puts me off - it's too suashed, things don't seem to be laid out nicely like they used to in the good old days /quote]
Concerning threads I'm on, in what regard is it more squashed? Threads I'm On in "New" currently happens to show me 5 threads in my browser window, whilst in "Classic" shows me 6. Surely that means it's more spaced out? (I think because each post has two lines attributed to it - one for the poster/date+time and one for the message, whereas in Classic it is all on one line.

oh how embarrassing, a crime against the apostrophe in my prev post
Ahem.
@BoysAreLikeDogs
don't like the font
It's the same though, isn't it? There is more bold in New than in Classic - is that what you mean?
I agree New is more blue than Classic.
@addictedisgettingexcited
i agree with threads i'm on too, it only shows about 6 of the last posts rather than the 18 or where you posted last. and its all rather squished together
I don't quite follow - can you elaborate please?
