oooooo you posh bird.

do u want something where bubs can face you then?

starlover · 02/07/2005 20:21

lol. well he can in the one we have. it has the pushchair part which can go front or back.

BUT, it has about a million design faults which mean i just can't use it.
shop are refusing a refund as there is not a "fault" with it (ie it isn't "broken") so it's gone off to babystyle today.

have been quoting sale of goods act at them... not fit for purpose etc etc...

and am now deciding what to do with my money when i get it LOL!

misdee · 02/07/2005 20:25

right okie dokey, lets see what we can find

starlover · 02/07/2005 20:28

am really liking the mutsy and i'coo style... not keen on 3 wheelers.
DP likes the fact that they are both "steerable" as well

OP posts:
misdee · 02/07/2005 20:30

what about theb bugaboo?

KristinaM · 02/07/2005 20:35

Sorry starlover...can i just gatecrash your thread for a mo to ask misdee a P&T E3 question????? Misdee - you've used your E3 for a baby and a toddler havent you - would you recommend it? I have always been a bargain basement buggy mummy and but now I will need a twin I am seriously considering the E3 ( having looked at all the twins and tandems on the market)

We live in the middle of nowhere so I need something that I can get in the boot of the car and that's manoverable. We rarely go on public transport ( mainly coz we dont have any!!!)

misdee · 02/07/2005 20:36

yes, cant recommend it enough. only drawback is lack of shopping basket when used for baby or as a double. that drives me mad.

Heathcliffscathy · 02/07/2005 20:36

i think you should all have a look at this if you haven't seen it already

here

and here

KristinaM · 02/07/2005 20:44

Sorry sophable I cant find anything about buggies on these links. What's your point?

starlover · 02/07/2005 20:45

no.. don't like bugaboo. think it's ugly.

misdee... one thing with the E3 occurred to me the other day when i saw a lady pushing one across the road... the underneath baby is RIGHT in line for traffic fumes!

OP posts:
misdee · 02/07/2005 20:47

i guess, but in the hammock they are pretty protected. am hoping dd2 walks better soon so can just use it as a single.

starlover · 02/07/2005 20:48

yeah this is true.

OP posts:
misdee · 02/07/2005 20:51

why no 3 wheelers?

cos i found this?

KristinaM · 02/07/2005 20:51

Thanks misdee - one of the advantage of "the middle of nowhere" is no traffic. I think I would need it as a double for about 18 months. Would it be Ok for a 3yo and a 18 month old?? DONT say make them walk BTW!!!!

Ok I will disappear off now in case i encourage any more hijackers

misdee · 02/07/2005 20:52

depends on how heavey they are? i use it for my alkost 3 year old who weighs over 40lb and my baby who now weighs 13lb, with no problems.

Heathcliffscathy · 02/07/2005 20:53

errr...kristina, a little virtual guerilla hijacking to try to raise mners awareness and hoping that more people will sign up if they haven't? and your problem with that would be????

starlover · 02/07/2005 20:54

i do like that one... nice fabric!

but i just wan't something a bit... different! everyone round here has 3-wheelers. or that bloody bugaboo!!! lol

OP posts:
misdee · 02/07/2005 20:55

know what u mean.

Xplory thingy?

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 02/07/2005 20:56

hate to say it but say an E3 for the first time today in town and thought it was horrible! Much prefer a Marco Sky!!!! (Sorry misdee, i know u love it!)

starlover · 02/07/2005 20:58

i looked at xplory... but bit too plasticky. i kind of liked it but then i saw someone with one and it made me laugh!

OP posts:
KristinaM · 02/07/2005 20:59

Misdee - one baby is due November and the other is about 30lbs at 13 months so I dread to think what he will weigh at 3. Though as I recall they don't put on much weight between 18 months and 3 years, just get taller. or maybe thats wishful thinking.....

Does your baby mind being " down below"?

misdee · 02/07/2005 21:09

at 12months dd weighed 32lb. so hasnt put on much since.
