Best place to get hold of cheap wide toddler shoes? (6.5 H)

Had ds measured at Clarks yesterday, he measured at 6.5 H which is pretty wide, and the only ones they had in his size were £30+ which I can't really afford right now. Ebay has a couple of pairs which I'm watching, is there anywhere else which sells cheaper toddler shoes than Clarks with decent width fittings? Thanks

clarks are crap for wide fitting shoes in my experience. I use independent shoe shops which are generally no more expensive than clarks. German and italian made shoes are good for wide fits. There is also Start Rite.

I am in the same boat. Bored of paying so much. I have bought loads of size H clarks shoes and boot shoes on ebay second hand - literally minimal use - I never pay more then £4 for them plus posatge and he still kicks them to pieces. Keep watching - there are literally loads on there

There's also this place: Shoes for Kids. It's a bit hit and miss but you can get some bargains.

I bought DS some trainer type shoes from there for the summer. The brand was Dinsaur Hunter and they were really wide (he's an H fitting too).

Ds is an H+ width fitting (cannot actually get his feet into any daps for example) and I have given up on Clarks. I actually find that if I but Next shoes in the half size above where Clarks have measured him, he fits them fine and they wear very well. They are quite reasonably priced too.

Took dd to Clarks this weekend. They measured her feet about 2 months ago at 11.5F. They had shrunk on Saturday to 10.5E - amazing. I mentioned this to the assistant and, finding nothing in 10.5-11.5, her solution was to consider a pair of size 12Gs. Mmmm.

agreed - clarks are absolutely shocking on fitting
