Try this one, standard tights in maroon £3.95 per pair: www.yourschooluniform.com/catalog/product/GP3123/Cotton_Tights.html

Are there any for grownups?

A guy I knew at university claims that his grammar school deliberately had an expensive hard-to-source-alternatives to 'keep the plebs out'. (the uniform was probably designed hundreds of years ago, but they made no moves to change it to something that could be bought in Asda)

thanks for that jancolls - looks perfect, and certainly an improvement on price

Maroon is definately a colour somebody made up just for school uniforms

Does anyone know where I can get maroon 70 denier (ish) lycra tights. Size 14 yrs or small/medium ladies, for school uniform. The cheapest I've seen so far is £6.50 for two pairs. But I have two girls and that doesn't work out cheap !
