FrenchGirl · 02/05/2005 11:25

my nutty FIL has bought dd a set of 4 dolls like that, I am so glad you all find them creepy too!!! I only opened the first one as I couldn't bear to look at the other three. The first one looked dead, really horrible. 'It' is staying in its box until I get round to selling all four horrors! yukyukyukyukyuk

fastasleep · 02/05/2005 11:33

I'll buy a girl one when this bubs is a boy and I'm not allowed any more! What? Does no one else just have boys and really want to dress a baby up in frilly dresses?

colditz · 02/05/2005 11:52

Psst!

tiffini · 02/05/2005 12:25

Baby William has been given lovely dark blue "real eyes" which i imported from the USA

WTF DOES THAT MEAN

louee · 02/05/2005 13:23

i think theyre lovely my little Dd aged 4 desperately wants one but they cost a fortune maybe when shes 18 i can afford to spend that kind of money on a doll !!!!!

louee · 02/05/2005 13:29

What's all the stuff about being "reborn"??

Hulababy · 02/05/2005 20:38

OMG Nellie!!! They are loads.

Hulababy · 02/05/2005 20:39

Soupy - they are stripped down and recreated. So ll factory paint, hair, eyes, etc are removed. Then they are repaited, etc. and hair and stuff readded using more "real" alternatives. Not sure where the dolls come from in the first place.

darlingbud · 02/05/2005 20:40

they are good but sooo real and life like. what is reborning?

anchovies · 02/05/2005 20:42

I saw one of these be tipped out of a pram by a toddler a few weeks ago at the park, I screamed then was very embarrassed as dh led me away explaining the baby was just pretend. Took me ages to get over it! Far too realistic for my liking.

darlingbud · 02/05/2005 20:44
