Freeview - Problem with Sky News & Sky Sport Channels

Kayleigh · 18/04/2005 20:18

My dh is very concerned as he hasn't been able to access either Sky News or Sky Sport through freeview for over a week. All other channels are fine, but these two are coming up with a "No information available" message.

Anyone else or is it just us ?

PS Can't say I'm too bothered about this

Hang on - I'll go check

SaintGeorge · 18/04/2005 20:25

They are fine. Try checking to see if there is a recent upgrade download available.

If that doesn't work, then try retuning the channels.

No cod - just a box on top of the telly. It's all done through the aerial.

We still have them both and we're on Freeview. Has he tried retuning all the channels in again? We just did that yesterday to get 36 (some TopUpTV channel) so that might be why we are still getting Sky News etc.

How do you re tune channels ???

Well on ours you bring up the main menu and choose 'setup', then 'autotune', then choose 'replace all channels' or 'add new channels'. You would want to choose replace.

thanks SaintGeorge. will give it a try and let you know

Kayleigh · 20/04/2005 18:26

Typical - just before we retune he checks again and it's all working . So no idea what caused it but he seems happy enough now it is back !
