Does anyone know if you can take the Dazzle covers off and wash them?

Also has anyone had a Combi Dash DX, Bebecar Rversus or Inglesina Ottuto?

Can anyone help?

I bought a Jane powertwin off ebay in Nov. It was sold by a private seller in an unused condition. I've noticed the rear wheels look like they are buckling and it pulls to the right even when I'm pushing on a totally flat pavement. I've noticed there is a mothercare warranty sticker on the frame but I wondered if I'd be able to get them to look at it even though I didn't buy it from them and have no receipt.

Would they let me use a repair service through them, if I paid for it myself even if I couldn't prove the pram was bought from their shop?

nicolamumof3 · 16/03/2009 14:26

hopi, i like the liner, wonder if it would fit my nipper seat tho? may be too narrow, would you say ok for a boy?

mogs0 i would try taking it back what does the warranty sticker say? should denote month and year of purchase.

misdee · 16/03/2009 14:26

google jane uk stockists, and i think iots johnstons prams who service janes

mogs0 · 16/03/2009 14:31

I can't figure out what date the sticker is stamped. I did have 2 lively little ones trying to climb in when I was looking though. Only have one now and he's asleep so will go and have another look.

Would I have to post it to Johnstons for it to be serviced or do they have lots of them? I'll google them this evening, thanks.

The back wheels on the Powertwin always look they are buckling. How big is the toddler in the front? It could be how they're sitting that's making it go to the side. I've had two Powertwins and I though the back wheels looked like they were buckled with the first even though it took me a couple of weeks to notice. When I got my second one I realised that just the way they were, I think even the Slalom pro looks like that as well.

mogs0 · 16/03/2009 14:44

I had an older model a couple of years ago but the rear wheels didn't lean in the way these do, infact they didn't do it at all. I have an 18 month old and a 10 month old in it. Usually, the 18m is in the front but today I put the 10m infront and it still pulled to the right. I don't often have both of them together but it's starting to be a bit of an effort to get them out for a walk in it now. I used to have 2 large 2 year olds in my last one and that was easier to push than this currently is!

Ladies would anyone please be able to tell me how much I could sell my silver cross 3d system for with and without the car seat. It has footmuff, parasol, rain cover and changing bag. All in decent but used state of wear.

I am going to give it a good scrub tonight once DD is in bed, any recommendations what I should use, or will hot soapy water do it?

nicolamumof3 · 16/03/2009 15:18

im not sure how much these fetch? do the fabrics come right off? if so they should be fine on a woollens wash. its very hard to say atm selling is slow i think, ebay completed listings will give you better idea. depending on fabric and condition maybe £80/£100ish with carseat and bag? maybe more?

insertwittynicknameHERE · 16/03/2009 15:19

I was thinking about £100 ish, just didn't want to over/under sell it IYSWIM. thank you.

pebbles79 · 16/03/2009 15:22

Mogs have you tried pumping up the tyres incase that's what's making it pull to the side?

sweetkitty · 16/03/2009 15:29

Ladies need some advice, Insertwittynicknamehere is going to buy my P&T, what is the best way of getting it to her? Have never sold anything so big before ?

alittlebitshy · 16/03/2009 15:37

has your luna come yet sweetkitty?

nicolamumof3 · 16/03/2009 15:39

have you a box for it? i keep all my boxes now to sell on!! you might be able to use luna box?

i use these two...

www.senditnow.com who i like as automatically covered up to £150 compensation and you can have picked up up to 4pm same day.

or

www.p4d.co.uk who use dhl 48hr.

nicolamumof3 · 16/03/2009 15:40

its sooooo much nicer and easier selling on mnet too!

sweetkitty · 16/03/2009 15:42

Thanks nicola, yes I still have the box up the loft, always knew I would sell it on

How do you measure the wieght use the P&T website and use the weight of the pram (am so useless at these things)

Whats the best to use then?

sweetkitty · 16/03/2009 15:44

Forgot to say tracked Luna and won't arrive until tomorrow

nicolamumof3 · 16/03/2009 15:47

i like send it now as you don't have to measure the box, plus you can book them to come later in day after school run etc. you need to make sure its fully insured tho to whatever you've sold it for may cost you a couple extra pounds. then its just the weight. round it up to nearest kilo or so to allow for packaging shouldn't be any more than 13kg/14kg? great you have original box, so much easier.loads of parecel tape, job done!!

insertwittynicknameHERE · 16/03/2009 15:54

Thanks Sweetkitty, I am really quite giddy at the thought of getting my very own P&T

nicolamumof3 · 16/03/2009 16:00

they really are the best double, i so wished i'd had one from the outset, i went through 5 doubles then got a p&t last summer, just sold it last month as ds2 at 3.2yrs is now a reliable walker!

sweetkitty · 16/03/2009 16:01

I agree they are the best, I will be sad to see it go but happy it will get a well loved home

insertwittynicknameHERE · 16/03/2009 16:17

Aww thanks sweetkitty, it is deffinately coming to a loving home. I am just so glad I am going to be able to get a P&T. Thanks to my mum as well for lending me the money and letting me pay her back at a later date.

nappyaddict · 16/03/2009 16:35

How much should I put my old Chicco CT 0.6 in paper for. I've had to throw the raincover and hood away though. Not expecting to get much but thought I'd put it in just to see if there's any interest otherwise I'll freecycle it.
