Does anyone know if you can take the Dazzle covers off and wash them?

Also has anyone had a Combi Dash DX, Bebecar Rversus or Inglesina Ottuto?

i didnt like the toro. sgk had one off ebay, so hd a play and wasnt impressed. i ove the fastfold though.

nicolamumof3 · 16/03/2009 09:00

hopi, all depends on what your lifestyle is like? do you do alot of in/out of car? or offroad walking?
i always think you need two buggies at least, one with air tyres and one that is quick to open fold.

mumofdjandbabies · 16/03/2009 09:07

morning all

I am in total shock a close friends son, a few doors down has passed away from cot death aged 2.
I am numb so heartbroken for them.

insertwittynicknameHERE · 16/03/2009 09:09

Hi pram ladies I was wondering if you could help me with a bit of a dilemma I have gotten myself into.

DD2 is due in July and I am going to need a double of some sort. I fell in love with the P&T not long after I had had DD1 (Nov 07). I like the P&T for many reasons.

The only thing is we are not going to be able to afford one TBH. I have looked for one second hand but they all get snapped up so quick (I hate ebay as well so that doesn't help lol)

Our house is tiny and our front door only just about lets us get DD's Silver Cross 3D in the door. We have limited no space space to store a large double. I love the design of the P&T also.

What I was wondering is if anyone could recommend a double (suitable for a 20mo and a newborn) that is a similar size to the P&T and is maybe a bit cheaper. Or do you recommend sticking with the idea of a P&T?

Oooor if anyone has a P&T for sale 2nd hand then I would love to be considered to be able to buy it. (I don't have paypal though, but if you are near me I can pick up)

TIA

nicolamumof3 · 16/03/2009 09:15

krissy that is so terribly sad. im not surprised you are shocked big hugs xxx

Disenchanted3 · 16/03/2009 09:38

Oh krissy, thats so sad and scary

nicolamumof3 · 16/03/2009 09:40

i really would get a p&t if you can, i loved mine is possible to pick up cheaply do you have cat? worth putting a wanted ad up for one? if you aren't so fussed on condition or whether a sport or e3 can easily be picked up around £180 mark if not cheaper?

Disenchanted3 · 16/03/2009 09:41

Im having quest picked up tomorrow, not by a buyer, its going back. I want to keep it, but DH has put his foot down

Have spent alot of the money I had from selling but still paid off holiday, paid back money I owed to family memeber and have about £200 spending for hols (and can save more up, its not for 3 months)

So he should be pleased and let me keep apples!

Am going to Mothercare today to push a bee around, hope I like it!

Disenchanted3 · 16/03/2009 09:41

I sold my double sport for £210

nicolamumof3 · 16/03/2009 09:43

dis shame about apples quest, by the time you want a quest tho dis they're might be even more lovely ones out or more bargains. i would have loved it but doesn't look like luna going anywhere

sweetkitty · 16/03/2009 09:48

insertwittynicknamehere - I think you are in luck I have a red 7 month old P&T for sale, doubles seat, cocoon, double raincover.

Best double on the market and I have had a few in my time.

I'm in Scotland so don't know if you will be aable to pick it up?

Well my Luna should arrive today, am not that excited about it as I should be we shall see I feel I got a bit stung.

nicolamumof3 · 16/03/2009 09:49

i bet it will be lovely sweetkitty! can't wait to hear about it.

insertwittynicknameHERE · 16/03/2009 09:50

Thanks Ladies, I might look at selling my SC 3D and put that towards the price of the P&T. I keep fantasizing that I will come across one in a charity shop or second hand shop but no such luck yet

Hopi · 16/03/2009 09:50

mumofj That is so, so sad I can understand why you are heartbroken for them x

nicola We are in and out of car a lot as we live in the middle of a suburban sprawl but have to drive to get anywhere (inc the school run!). We don't do much offroad walking at all but if we did then I would probably sling the baby anyway. That is why I am thinking a Bee even though I'm not sure that I love it that much. I suppose that I could always sell it on when I am done though.

Charlotte was in a Maclaren from about 4 months old, she also had a Zapp which I loved but she outgrew. Realistically, I think this baby will probably end up in a Maclaren by about age 1 too. Oh, I hate making decisions!

insertwittynicknameHERE · 16/03/2009 09:51

oooh sweetkitty, I am not in Scotland but I am sure we could arrange something. How much are you selling for?

insertwittynicknameHERE · 16/03/2009 09:52

I suppose I could always set up a paypal account, never tried before.

nicolamumof3 · 16/03/2009 10:02

paypal v.easy to set up.

i'd sell the toro then as well, was thinking air wheels may be good, but if you don't off road or walk long distances maybe not worth having? i walk everywhere as don't drive. i wonder if my nipper is coming today?

sweetkitty · 16/03/2009 10:04

Insertwitty - £280 would be the least I could accept for it, as I said it is only 7 months old and I only got it on the condition that I would resell it and get some money back (thanks DH), DD2 is 3.2yo now and refusing to get in it

I can send you some pictures email me at slrobertson002 at hotmail dot com

Disenchanted3 · 16/03/2009 10:06
