Hi im new here but im guessing its for people who love their pushchairs I DO. I,ve got 2 im using at the moment, a bruin zen stroller which i think is great for a stroller better than my maclaren i had and a zapp which im getting a bit bored with and fancy a change. Wondered if anyone could recommend anything that i could get instead my ds is 2.5 but still uses the buggy a lot as i do a lot of walking and hes very lazy!
Thanks everyone

Im off to get my dd from school so will be away for a bit but will read any replies when i get back

GroovyChic · 15/01/2009 15:00

I've just got the P&T out to put together and have noticed that one of the mud guards are broken

What do you think I should do?? The person I bought it off received it as a gift but I see kiddicare stickers on the the box.

Maclaren · 15/01/2009 15:02

Groovy you can get spares for £12 from here

Nicola were you interested in the single storm cover you could have it for £10 inc postage

Claret The hood is from cotton but also has a waterproof layer & wadding My footmuffs are from long fuax fur

GroovyChic · 15/01/2009 15:12

Thanks Maclaren. I've contacted the person I bought it off and waiting to hear back.
Can I ask where the rear guard housing on the buggy frame is?? The screws are suppose to be there but I can find it

nappyaddict · 15/01/2009 15:14

BLM - which maclaren did you have before?

Presto's are quite nice as is the cosatto venture and the luna.

nappyaddict · 15/01/2009 15:14

Blue comfort packs here no stripey ones though.

MrsMagooo · 15/01/2009 15:20

GC I got my P&T from Kiddicare & the screws were already screwed into the frame so had to unscrew them to put the mud guards on IYKWIM?

GroovyChic · 15/01/2009 15:29

found the screws

Is the Z tool just a allen key?? as I can't see one in the box.

MrsMagooo · 15/01/2009 15:32

Maclaren yes I've had a Snunkie footmuff on my Buzz - it was fab as fitted beautifully!

The only way to have a Snunkie hood on the newer Buzz is to send in your current hood & have the fabric cut off & Snunkie hood sewn in place or to get a spare hood (which I'm trying to do) so they have the Snunkie hood sewn onto it

JackJacksmummy · 15/01/2009 15:35

hiya again

Got my hands on a black P&T sport with doubles kit for £275 - not bad but now you naughty girlies have got me looking at the lovely snunkie accessories!!!

buggylovinmummy · 15/01/2009 15:41

nappyaddict it was the maclaren quest but that was for my dd so it was 4 years ago, ive just put it on e-bay. im going to keep the stroller but i want to change my zapp for something else , ive only had it 6 months but i get bored with pushchairs easily so wanted some ideas of what pushchairs would be good for my 2.5 ds, hes quite a big boy so need something roomy if anyone has got any recommendations?

buggylovinmummy · 15/01/2009 15:42

nappyaddict i like the look of the luna but didnt know if my ds would be too big for it

1legmummy · 15/01/2009 15:42

nappyaddict · 15/01/2009 15:44

well ds is 2.6 and 31 lbs and has oceans of room left if that helps. Straps were a bit tight so we use reins instead.

MrsMagooo · 15/01/2009 15:47

1legmummy Buggysnuggles, Pupabags, Snunkie & Jane Nests are all very long & go up to age 3/4

GroovyChic · 15/01/2009 15:48

To the ladies with a p&t, how do you take out the axle from rear wheel, I've put it in the wrong way i.e the brake disc side

BexieID · 15/01/2009 15:48

Tom is 2.9 and only 29lbs!

MrsMagooo · 15/01/2009 15:50

GC you have push the top of the axle in to realease the pin then pull out whilst holding the top in IYKWIM?

sal1309 · 15/01/2009 15:50
