Umm... hello everyone!
Hope you don't mind me poking my head in
Was wondering (seeing as how you ladies are the pram oracles!) if any of you have/ have had a luna mix pram? Am expecting my baby in March and like the look of this, with the carrycot, but don't know anyone who's used one!

Thanks all... hijack over

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2009 17:31

no hijack, all are welcome here

i had a luna and loved it, not a mix tho? not sure how much i would like it as a three wheeler with the carrycot, but i had a luna when my ds was about 8m old and it was a lovely summer pushchair i had it in cress.

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2009 17:33

pushchair just thinking, didn't the classic come with an apron? couldn't you use a blanket then keep it on with the apron iykwim?

i seen a used black mac one bin £20 on ebay?

firstontheway · 14/01/2009 17:34

Well, a normal luna was another idea, plus the carrycot again. Truthfully, I think they're a bit ugly with the carrycot attached but I bet it's sooooo comfy for baby! And I love the look as a pushchair... the cress colour is gorgeous!

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2009 17:39

depends what your budget is what you want the puschair for. the luna is lovely and light and dream to push and lovely one handed push, easy fold and compact. be lovely for a summer baby, are they still on sale at m&p think they were only £120?

techno · 14/01/2009 17:41

techno · 14/01/2009 17:43

sal1309 · 14/01/2009 18:20

firstontheway i had a luna in cress and it was lovely easy to push lightweight the only thing i had against it was the floating harness as my dd is older she used to manage to get out of it too quick lol and i had to reset it everytime i used it but a fab pushchair would have another lol

nicola well done onthe toro

hi everyone else

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2009 18:39

can't seem to get on home page for www.directparceldistribution.co.uk.

Any other couriers that i can use for toro (so need compensation up to £200) for under £10?

Thanks!

MrsMagooo · 14/01/2009 18:40

First I too have had a Luna & it's a lovely pushchair, glides along, nice size hood & seat, fairly good size shopping basket, adjustable handle, nice padded seat, swivel/lockable wheels, harness is a PITA but IMO all M&P harness' are

Tachno Blue camo will look lurvely

MrsMagooo · 14/01/2009 18:43

Nicola Rainbow Parcels are £9.99

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2009 18:48

how much do they cover up to mrs.m? i can't find.

i don't know why dpd's site not working i have always used them

techno · 14/01/2009 18:50

pmsl @ looner

MrsMagooo · 14/01/2009 18:51

I've had problems with DPD too - haven't been able to get on the site for weeks!

It covers up to £50 but says you can take up to an additional £55 using Diamond Service under insurance

No sign of the girl wanting the Dreami - said she'd be here at half 5

MrsMagooo · 14/01/2009 18:53

Ah they've relisted that have they Techno last time they listed it, it just had the Windoo - they've added seat & footmuff now too, bargain!!

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2009 18:54

pmsl too techno!! its got the name on the bloody chassis for crying out loud!!!

MrsMagooo · 14/01/2009 19:00

It's like when people list their Quinney - it has the name splattered all over it lol!

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2009 19:01

yep i love it when people list things wrong tho, they normally sell cheaper!!!! im just happy that one toro has gone, i've got a new footmuff coming, just one toro to sell now.

MrsMagooo · 14/01/2009 19:03

Fabby that you've sold one - which colour did you sell??

Still no sign of the viwer - don't think she's coming

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2009 19:05

emerald one, should get it out of box and check it over i suppose

thats so annoying when people don't show, and rude.

dr's just called to remind me luka has mmr tomorrow i hate taking them for injections but he should have had it 5m ago

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2009 19:06

Maclaren · 14/01/2009 19:09

oh you are doing well Nicola

MrsM that happen to me on Saturday with the four seasons a lady bought it on ebay said would collect saturday at 11.30 I rang her at 12.00 to see where she was, she said she was ten minutes away and then never turned up nutter! I then put it back on and sold it on Sunday posted it on Monday

OP posts:
techno · 14/01/2009 19:09

i dont like loolas but it made me giggle and true sometimes worth watching as they do sell cheaper.
aww shame MrsM they havent said they cant make it how annoying and rude! hope she turns up

nicolamumof3 · 14/01/2009 19:12

yes one down, one went and then decided not to sell, two more to go. so a good start! someone offered me £130 on one earlier so i've countered £179 again.

pushchair · 14/01/2009 19:15

yes classic has apron but it is shortish and poppers on 'lightly' I can just see DD3 kicking that off-the same goes for a straightforward blanket.
congratulation on toro going.
