Has anyone got contact details (phone or email) for someone 'high up' at Amazon

I am having a nightmare of a time trying to get them to organise a return. Lost the will to live dealing with their customer service dept by phone. Want to make a formal complaint to someone or send an angry email!

freephone 0800 496 1081 for customer service (but I guess you've tried that?)

When I returned something recently they were amazingly quick at refunding my cash. What's happened?

Filled in the form.

Spoken to them on the freephone number 4 times (2 hours in total).

Sent angry (but polite) feedback twice on the 'how did we handle your grievance' feedback form.

They sent something I didn't order to someone else (along with something I did order as a gift). It is huge, it is very expensive, they don't want it, they are fed up with it cluttering up their house, they are angry with me (my parents so as always it is all my fault, and proves that they were right in thinking the internet and internet shopping to be the devil's work). A collection has been arranged twice and not happened, and they even said I had to pay for the collection!

Rant over.

Not in charge of UK operations, but there's "Greg Greeley, Amazon's vice president of European retail" who commented on the LOVEFILM selloff earlier this year -- you could try all the obvious likely email addresses for him at .com and .co.uk

May have finally resolved this. Some customer service manager phoned me this evening and apologised. They've given me a £5 voucher and refunded my money, which is better than nothing I suppose.

Waiting to see if they actually collec the unwanted item now. If they don't I'll ebay it and make a fortune!
