my samsung american fridge freezer has gone mad and will only dispense crushed ice

No but ours has broken down twice in the last year including 3 days before the last Christmas.

Samsung have promised us a new one if it does it again

Mine started only producing ice cubes at the weekend. No crushed ice.

You'll have to live on cocktails.

What model no. is it? only the RS21 has had lots of problems and samsung extended the warranty to 5yrs x

We quoted the sale of goods act at them and they have replaced the part twice in one year andtold us if it goes again we will get a new one. Its the fridge fan getting iced up and not moving the air round the fridge for us. They have admitted its a design fault and have a modification kit for it that they will fit free of charge

Mine will dispense every kind of ice but no water...
