Has anyone tried the 'Jugit' milk in bag thingys from sainsburys yet?

Do they work? They look like they might be leaky but I love the idea of 75% less packaging, we get through loads of milk.

I use the milkbags (Country Life from Ocado) - have done for a year or so - but the Jugit thing I found completely awful: fiddly, hard to clean, easy to make a mess. I bought a couple of 1l fliptop glass bottles from IKEA, which go in the dishwasher, and pour the milk into one of those instead. And that's fine! It looks well on the table, too.

The bags have never leaked or burst. I get through about 5 bags a week and keep them in a drawer in the fridge.

I always use bagged milk, but not the Jugit container. I just use an ordinary plastic jug.

Smithagain - we had them in the Highlands in the early 70s.

Sometimes the milkman would post them through the letter box in winter as they would freeze solid if they were left out.
The Milk Marketing Board issued orange plastic jug type holders for the bags.
