Why does Next keep out of stock sale items online?

[cornflakecrunchie]

Ok, so I'm a bit late heading to Next online for the sale.. but with all the tech available these days, why is everything that's out of stock still on the website? It was everything I clicked on.. do better, Next. :-(
Complete waste of my time.

When they get returns, the item comes back into stock briefly. If there are items you really want, it's worth hitting the 'notify me when back in stock' button, as you'll then get an email if they get some returned that are then available to buy.
