Are glazing faults common when ordering Emma Bridgewater mugs online?

Recently ordered six mugs from Emma bridgewater, on receiving them I find half have glazing faults.

I had sworn off ordering from them as so often things were not right but got tempted by the new Halloween mugs.

Are people finding this is just par for the course when ordering online from them?

I had a problem with one bought via John Lewis. Got a replacement and told to keep the one they’d sent. It was a very obvious fault and was for a present. I just sent photos via email.
Half is a lot as they aren’t cheap are they?

I'd expect them to be refunded or replaced, send them photos and look at their fault goods return policy.

There was a massive thread on here a while back about handles falling off! Which is obviously a burn risk. Many people saying they wouldn’t bother to buy them again.

Oh I did look for threads from the past month but nothing came up. It’s a shame as I love the designs but disappointed to end up with half needing sorting. I have emailed them with photos of the faults but it’s a faff for something so pricy!

Are these full price perfect ones? At the EB factory shop a few weeks back I bought the slightly imperfect ones half price (£12.50). Sounds like they’re trying it on, selling you the imperfect ones at the full price.

I think I will fully commit to not ordering any more of them, I have two on preorder unfortunately but after that I’m done.
