Help me spend £300 at Mamas and Papas for my third baby.

Been very generously gifted £300 to spend at mamas and papas, but this is my third baby and we don't need anything.

Everything we have is in good nick, or been replaced in advance of babys' arrival (teach me to be organised buying a mattress which probably won't even be used till 2027!) The two items that are still on the wish list (a running buggy and hiking carrier) M&P's don't sell 🤦🏼‍♀️

The only thing I can think of is to buy some outfits in future sizes and stash them somewhere. But £300 feels like an overwhelming amount to spend on clothes, and I'm not sure I trust myself not to forget about them 🫣

What would you buy?

Do you need new car seats? They don't last forever so older ones may need replacing - if you Google the brand they say how long they last before expiry

They've got scooters and balance bikes. Consolation prize for the bigger ones? Alternatively just let the bigger children choose some cute outfits and toys for the baby

DD5 loves shopping. I'm the opposite, plus feel like I have to 'need' something to buy it whereas she just goes wild. Reckon if I gave her the decision power we'd be spent up in no time.

DS was very unimpressed that he doesn't yet have the dexterity to open his stolen banana. He'll do anything for a banana (apart from not climb out of the window!)

Do they still sell maternity wear?

Buy something and sell it on to put towards what you want?

Can you sell them? If you got £250 for them you'd get your hiking carrier!

Yeah, i think i'd be selling them? Or buy up heaps of stuff to sell on Vinted, probably in tbe sale, so you get back nearer to what you spent.
Or letting DD loose with say, £100 of it, as a fun way to prep for the baby's arrival together?

Tripp Trapp if mamas and papas sell them? My six yr still uses his and had to buy one for the 3yr old to use

@YorkshireIndie I thought this as well as we have second hand ones for the other two but they only sell a replica brand which doesn't have the same value or resale value. But still an option worth considering!
