Is switching from acrylic nails to DIY wraps a cheaper option?

I pay for acrylic nails everu three weeks £30 a time. Tbh its lovely having great nails but I going forward I can't really afford it.
Has anyone used those wrap nails with an LED lamp. They look great but not sure i will get the same finish. I am basically trying to save cash so is it more prudent to drop the nail appointments and DIY with wrap or will these look tacky? Anyone switched and got any advice. Is it overall much cheaper?

I use the gel wraps and they’re really easy to put on. You honestly can’t tell the difference.

I change them every two weeks and I buy the wraps from Amazon at £7.99 a packet. Have uploaded a picture of the current ones - I’m going to change them to something new tomorrow,
