Affordable interview outfit ideas for a tall size 14 to 16

Hello, I need something cheap and cheerful for an office job interview next week. I’m tall, early 30’s & a size 14-16.

Interview help also appreciated! Would so love to get this role.

H and M do affordable suiting. See if their blazers plus a summer dress or shirt and trousers are suitable or long enough?

Also Matalan have really reasonably priced bits and lots of choice you will easily find something in there for an interview.

Be confident. Ask questions. Show your personality. You've done so well to get an interview now you've just got to prove them right that they saw something in your application that makes them think you are the right fit.

Supermarket trousers - Sainsburys do different lengths and a smart top or blouse. Unless it’s a very formal setting or senior role, I don’t think you need a jacket, particularly in warmer weather.

How tall is tall?
i’m 5’11” and 35” inside leg. I’d go to Next online and buy some suit trousers from their Tall range and a smart t-shirt or blouse, probably from a supermarket to save some money as I struggle less with fit on tops than trousers.
if you’re a shorter tall and can wear what shops like Matalan or Primark call Long (usually a 31” leg) then you can shop anywhere.
but you can’t go wrong with black trousers and a top.

What have you already got, if anything?
A basic pair of trousers or skirt that you could get a new top to go with?

Last interview I had i wore an old pair of black trousers, polished shoes, and bought a new shirt.

Id shop your wardrobe first.
