I currently have a sunrise alarm clock which in some ways I love - being woken by light is definitely more effective for me than sound, however the time display on it is permanently lit (you can dim it but this isn't very effective), which I find keeps me awake if I wake during the night, which I do most nights.
(I've previously taped over it to block it completely but this is annoying every time I want to change any of the settings.)
I'd like to replace it with one that you can completely turn off the clock display so it doesn't emit any light throughout the night until it starts to light up for the alarm. I'm finding it hard to identify whether some of the sunrise alarm clocks do this. Does anyone have a sunrise alarm clock that has this feature that they can recommend?
