Where to buy joggers and jeans for a very slim teen

Looking for help, as shopping has never been my strength and I am now looking for a teen girl who has had a growth spurt. I am looking for recommendations for joggers and jeans (similar to those most teens are wearing). Issue is, she is very, very slim, about 5 foot tall.
Any help appreciated.

Yes!!! Hollister jeans are truly excellent - online you can buy size 000 (size 2) and choose length so you can get tiny waist for a leggy young lady (my dd was size 4 at 5’6” which is super tricky for most brands!). Some of their jeans also have an adjustable waist so you can cinch too. My DD loves wearing them and still has them (now size 6 and 5’7 happily she has fleshed out a bit!). They are not cheap but my dd owns two pairs and almost lives in them outside school.

we found some good loungewear bottoms in Hollister too

Joggers I still find tricky - you need a genuine drawstring, and they all seem to run short in the leg even then. And the really baggy styles simply dwarf my dd.

Leggings for the gym also tricky due to short length / bagginess.
I found some styles of Sweaty Betty on Vinted were ok (still tended to be short) and the basic leggings on the GymShark website were great (very stretchy, so ping back nice and tight).

just re read your post - if she’s only 5 foot then she’s only the height of an 11-12 year old so my post is probably no help at all.

You need kids sizes with adjustable waist. Size down to get small waist, but look for an extra-long leg: Abercrombie Fitch does a “Long” jeans size with an adjustable waist - you’d probably need dd to try on but I’d try Long age 9-10.

For a short while when dd was still growing (tall at 85th percentile, slim at 15th percentile), I happened upon some narrow-legged cargo trousers which my dd liked - I was able to size up by an age group or two (to get extra length), and then I re-threaded the waistband with a new piece of elastic so I could cinch the waist tighter. The slightly bunched up material actually gave her quite a nice shape.

Dd also found M&S jeans were a better fit than some others - although still too short for her. You may also be able to find Gap slim/tall jeans online

But when she grows taller then you’ll probably have the same problem my dd had.

you would think slim and tall was the best shape but it’s not!

I’ve only had the equivalent with DS1 but Uniqlo was suggested here and was a lifesaver for a bit.
