What to wear to a gig?

Haven’t been out for years. Now going to a gig of very cool band. No idea what to wear. Tall
woman age 46 size 12.

Any inspiration? Normally I’m in floral dresses for work but I want to look cool.

Depends on the type of music! I wore a pvc corset, fishnet leggings and a black bodycon midi dress with DMs a few weeks ago (am 53 and tall size 10), but a political t shirt and skinny jeans to the one before as it suited the vibe for each one

Oh, fun! I might do a kimono from Little Lies over jeans and a vest for that

Jeans and a nice top!

Basically don’t overthink it.

Comfy shoes if you're standing!

Black jeans black t shirt (with studs and puff sleeves in my case) black leather jacket and black trainers. Crossbody black bag.

Absolutely love that, that’s how I dress too and still will be in my old age!

I wore a black mini skirt with tights, black DMs and a white shirt to the one I went to last week but kept my long coat on the whole time anyway so I could have been wearing anything 😂
going to one in April and what I wear will be dictated by the weather and method of transport I’ll take to get there.
comfort is always the priority for me, I’ve done my years of dressing to look good but feeling awkward or uncomfortable!
