Hello! Help! Going to Asia soon and want to take some skincare products as a gift for a friend. What brands would be good? Looking for something that’s not too pricey but is also really good quality and looks nice (if you see what i mean). Not really skincare person so so lost. Was thinking Rituals?

Rather than pointing you to specific brands, the thing worth thinking about when gifting skincare to someone in Asia is that many Asian skincare markets are actually incredibly well developed and often ahead of Western brands in terms of formulation and texture, so a thoughtful European or Swiss made product with clean ingredients and nice packaging tends to be genuinely appreciated as something they can't easily get locally rather than something they can find on every corner.

Please don't take skincare. Its so personal.

Id suggest: a box of English tea and some easter chocolate if you think you can keep it from melting. Mini eggs travel well.

For packaging I like Byoma or Bubble. You could get some nice body products from Cowshed, Bamford or Bramley if you wanted very British vibes.

Neal’s Yard would be ideal. Beautiful bottles and tubs. Not too specific to any unknown personal skin issues. Very British.
Highly recommend the Frankincense cream and the Wild Rose range but everything is lovely.

What a weird idea for a gift, especially for someone who lives in Asia. Take her some teabags and biscuits.
