We have the usual rackets from Woollies etc but have signed DS up for tennis course in the summer . He enjoys hitting a ball about and would like to get him a resonable racket - dont know where to start .

Any advice, recommendations to buy etc etc ?

Sportsworld have a large selection to suit all ages usually and they are all less than £10. Have bought DS (5) one with a short handle and a large head that he was able to hold easily in the shop. Don't know how you size correctly but then my DS is no budding Wimbledon Jnr!

That sounds good , shall have a look in Sportsworld .

we bought dd 5 a lovely racket from John Lewis. Not cheap but a good racket

The Roger Federer one from Toys R Us is really lightweight which is why i got it for DS2 (5). Honestly - compare it to the others on the rack.
