Just received vintage wood furniture.
it is quite broken and needs to be glued back together.
I trust the business didn’t mean to send it to me in this condition and it was the courier that has damaged it.
they are offering me a partial refund

How much will it cost you to fix it?

youll have to provide a little more context
when you say the company, is it a retailer? If so you have the consumer rights act on your side which states that goods must be of satisfactory quality / as described. so if it’s vintage, was the damage disclosed to you at the time of purchase? Does it fall under general wear and tear?

It is a business, a small one. It is so broken that is is un-useable, literally non functional unless I get someone to fix it. It’s all snapped. Don’t know how much it will cost. I might ask a handy neighbour.
