Best Place to Buy Affordable and Comfortable Duvet Covers?

Hey everyone, I’m looking to buy some new duvet covers for my student flat — preferably good quality but not too expensive. I’ve been checking out a few options like Dunelm, John Lewis, and Thornton Mills.
Has anyone tried any of these? Which one would you recommend in terms of comfort and durability?

I bought some excellent ones from Habitat at Sainsbury’s earlier this year. Great quality for the price. Recommended.

For the first time since 1979 (when lived in Norway for a while) bought an ikea one last month, it seems good quality for the money, think about £30 for a double? Did have to check a few though as some were better than others. It's incredibly soft and washes well.

And yes, the habitat ones get good reviews, including the scion ones they do. Sorry, never bought any from the ones you mention.

I used to always get them from John Lewis in the sales. I only use high-ish thread count cotton, and theirs are reliable. Lately, though, I've bought from Dusk and am pleased with them. They're always reducing prices so it's worth re-visiting until they hit your price level!

Really like Dunelm. Huge range and v good prices. Feels like good value compared to other places. But nb if you open the packets at all you can’t return them.

Get 100% cotton, some of the ikea dubet covers are good but not all.

I got a Laura Ashley one - 100% cotton in the next clearance the other day. Super king was £90, paid £30
