Microwave/air fryer combo - yay or nay?

Dear all,

I managed to blow up the microwave yesterday (don't ask!)

Wondering if anyone has a microwave/air fryer combination that they would recommend or is it a washer/dryer scenario where neither function works as well....

Appreciate any recommendations! Or warnings!

I've got one that's got an oven option as well. No complaints at all and all 3 elements work as expected.

I've got a 'sage' one which supposedly is small oven/airfryer/microwave....supposedly all singing, all dancing. I may be an older idiot (see user name) but I can't get it to do anything well. The only bit I really like is the button labelled 'a little bit more' which I think is genius!

This is what worries me to be honest! The one I've just blown up (with an egg!!!) had an oven function which I never used! Not once! I've decided to just get a microwave that has no bells and whistles and am hoping it will microwave well 😅
