haven't seen it but if it only just fits in your boot, and you'll have shopping too then I would imagine it'll be too big for bus.

I try and use the sling if I'm taking the bus, or a little umbrella fold pushchair if absolutely necessary

yeh it is umbrella folding it's just that it is a convertible so when the roof is down it only just fits and i only need it for going on the bus and in the car when the roof is down

Alot of buses these days are adapted for wheelchair users so that the bus stop is level with the bus IYSWIM.You can push the buggy straight on without "lifting" or tilting it,and once onside there is usually an area at the front of the bus where they have taken away the seats, and put flip down ones,so you can park your buggy up,put the breaks on and sit down on the flip down seat, without "sticking" out in the way. With my DD2 I had a Caesarian,so couldnt drive and I managed really well on the buses with my Double Buggy,a side by side McClaren. HTH.

i've heard nothing but bad reviews about hauck. My sis has one and never uses it as it doesn't steer properly and have friends who bought and then they fell apart.

You could be better off getting a cheaper second hand good make off ebay. I have no experience of single buggies though so can't recommend (but will be looking for advice soon!).
