Hey ladies! Going on a first date to a upscale Italian restaurant and need opinions on this dress!

I am going on a first date to a pretty upscale restaurant tomorrow night (has dress code, price range $$$$) and I decided to buy this little dress that I found at the first store I tried!

But I need some opinions... is it too revealing??

I was going to try to find a black shawl to take with me in place of a jacket b/c we're also going to the movies after.

Also was going to wear simple, strappy black heels with diamond earrings and my hair up in a ponytail.

What do you guys think?? This is a first major date I am feeling excited about after a terrible breakup a few months ago, and I am just unsure about if I know how to act/dress/do the dating game again at 33 years old lol :)

where are you OP? I’m in London and first dates much more casual there.

but this is a dress you can dress up or dress down, so could wear it to anything with the right accessories

Do you feel comfortable in it, or are you going to feel self conscious? I think you look fabulous and I'd definitely wear it if I was you, but you need to be able to focus on being your brilliant self and not being worried about what you're wearing.

It looks great. You should feel confident in that as you look gorgeous. Agree a more casual jacket would be good.

I personally think it’s a bit revealing/ suggestive for a first date.
For a first date I’d go for something just a bit more modest/ classy/ reserved.
I’d save this dress for when you’re in a relationship with him.
