Help! Need a dress for me for my baby’s christening

Christening is early August
I am early 40s and breastfeeding size 14-16 and average height
I’ve ordered loads but not found anything
prefer midi and ideally something I can wear again even if it’s just on holiday. I hate my stomach, I feel frumpy and I’m feeling really low about this and wish I’d waited until I felt happier in myself to organise the christening.
There’s a gorgeous maxi frill me and em dress but the colour isn’t right.
Budget ideally under 100 but can stretch to 200
Please please help me 😭

Post a link to the me and em so we have some idea of what you like.
What colours do you like?
Does it need to be breastfeeding friendly?
There's a dress out there for you, don't despair! 🙂

When I was in similar position, I bought secondhand Tiffany Rose dresses, which were really lovely. Have a look on Vinted to get a feel for them - there are quite a few options on there that might suit eg https://www.vinted.co.uk/items/6212455894-tiffany-rose-maternity-floral-maxi-dress

I know these are maternity dresses, but that tends to mean tummy is hidden and with this style you can just fold down the top for nursing access. Good luck with the hunt!

In this exact situation last year and I got a maxi wrap dress from Hope and Ivy. Super flattering and easy to breastfeed.
There are lots of different prints and loads available on vinted.

I like warmer colours as lilacs can make me look very washed out, not helped with the exhaustion of nightfeeds. Bf friendly ideally but I can cope if it isn’t, there’s a private room to feed in if I need to

Thank you, I’ll look up Tiffany rose now as hadn’t heard of them. I’d need to buy new as I need to order a few sizes and know I can return if I don’t like the fit

I had a nice jersey breastfeeding dress from Jojo Maman Bebe in a bright purple. Used for both Christenings and loved it

Id been looking at a few of theirs, a navy grace one. I’d prefer something I could wear again. I’ll maybe order it to at least try on
