Apologies I know this subject is done to death but we need to buy a new car for our family of five and I'm after some advice please!
I'm looking for an SUV type car that can fit three car seats in the back (a HBB for my 8 year old, a forward facing harness seat for my 4 year old, and a rear facing seat for my 1 year old), with enough boot space for a buggy and some shopping. Boot space doesn't need to be massive as my husband has a crew cab van that we use if we go anywhere with a lot of luggage - which is why I'm not looking at bigger MPV vehicles like the S Max/Alhambra/Touran etc.
I'm after something that doesn't feel like a tank to drive and have been looking at Peugeot 5008/Citroen C5 Aircross as I know these have three proper seats in the back but I have been put off by reports on their reliability. I'm also looking at 7 seater Skoda Kodiaq/Land Rover Discovery Sport but unsure if I can get all the car seats in the back (I'm happy to buy new car seats to fit). Volvo XC90 is out of our price range!
I keep going round and round in circles - help!
