little tikes garden cottage help and advice please

hi

we bought a little tikres garden cottage for dd last year it's the one with the greenhouse on the side in plasticy stuff

have just been into the garden today and all the bottom frame that holds the greenhouse bit has worn through and is rusty and the flap door is torn and the ceiling has a hole in it

now i wasn;t going to buy this particular house as i thought due the materials it was made of this may happen but it was the one she realy wanted and i reasoned that surely this should not happen straight away

obv it has and it;s not due to rough play as she hardly got to play in it last year due to the weather

i have been on the little tikes website and can only find customer services for the states or a spare parts helpline,well i would like the greenhouse part replacing but as it is less than a year old should i expect them to do it for free? also surely this will just keep on happening and it;s a very expensive thing to have a replace a part every year

has anyone had this happen to them and what did they do?
howmuch was it to replace the greenhouse?
also has anyone done their own diy job on it?

My DS has the same cottage. His was bought exactly year ago for his birthday. I have just left it for the moment as it is still usable but will probably have to contact Little Tikes at some point to get a replacement.

Please can you let us know how you get on. We are just out of the warranty, so I'm not sure whether to bother contacting Little Tikes or not.

tutu100 will try and contact them tomorrow when i have found my receipt from next if i can will let you know what they say

am going to enquire if they sell a solid said for it as an alternative as if you don;t replace the greenhouse part there is no wall

no reply email yet

will give them until this afternoon and then will call them- but which number should i use

they only give a spare parts number - which kind of implies to me that you would end up paying for the parts, there is no warranty number

hi have heard absolutely nothing back as of yet in rsponse to my email which is disappointing

have just called the spare parts line and the conservatory part is £20 inc p&p but they dont have any in stock at the moment

there is no other way other than email or post to get in touch about warranty etc so i am going to have to contact next to get a receipt or see if they will replace the part
