Tall, skinny 6yo in-between Vertbaudet sizes. Should I size up?

Hi everyone!
My daughter is 6 years and 3 months old, and she’s tall and skinny. I’m trying to decide between Vertbaudet sizes 5/6 and 7/8.
The way I interpret it:

• Size 5/6 fits ages 5 up until around age 6.
• Size 7/8 fits ages 7 up until around age 8.

Seeing as my daughter is just over 6, she seems to be in between these sizes. Should I size up for her tall and slim build? Also, would you recommend the same size for leggings as you would for a dress? Thanks in advance for your advice!

When i used to order verbaudet from france the sizes were calculated by height in cm. They were VERY true to size in that respect… do they still have the cm size?

I have tall, slim kids and have always sized up in Vertbaudet - my tall 6 year old is comfortably in their 7/8 clothes.

How tall is she? I just looked on their website and they do have a size guide on. It says for a child of 116cm order age 6 and for a child of 128cm order age 8. My daughter has always been in much bigger sizes but partly that’s because she’s always been ‘sturdy!’ At 6 I think she was in 9-10 and by 7 in 10-11. But if yours is skinny then I think you can just go by her height as to what size she would need.
