Can you really find the clothes you want?

Shopping. We're supposed to love it but I loath it.

I cuddled DP earlier, in his super soft cotton stretch long sleeve and cuffed bottoms pyjamas from Uniqlo. So lovely. £30.

I want them. Uniqlo don't do a women version. They are silky or polyester or shorties or 3/4 sleeve. No nighties in that same lovely cotton.

If I search for nighties or shorts, shorts, dresses.... all of it.... I never find what I want.

I want the good material men get. I want the choice of waist size, rise and leg length in plain design, full length sleeve, basic normal colours.

IF I find the exact thing I do want, it's always with a but... it's polyester, short sleeve (or worse 3/4) or patterned and or adorned.
It's always too short in the body length, it just doesn't match the male equivalent for the need to wear it.

I buy second hand on vinted and eBay. Much better selection and quality.

I consider a lot of Uniqlo stuff unisex. Just buy the soft men’s pyjamas? Same with jumpers/sweatshirts.

I feel exactly the same as you.

i have fixed some of the issues by just buying from the men’s department!

some examples.

t shirts that are both long enough in the body and on the sleeves and are %100 cotton!

same applies to long sleeve T-shirts for under clothing.

some trainers which are better if your not looking for a dinky style.

pyjamas! Cotton! Not tight and not covered in frills or bows or unicorn etc prints
But I find that sometimes the leg can be a bit short. They are ok when I’m standing but if I put my legs up on the sofa some ride up and leave my ankles uncovered.

trousers or skinny jeans (which aren’t so tight they are painted on!) but they are hit and miss due to my hips/stomach so I have to try on everything.

shorts are always longer on the leg, but have to try on for fit though

I don’t do joggers etc but a man’s hoodie both zip up and not is normally cotton instead of a women’s which is a mix! And for an oversized look works much better.
i can’t get one to fit with my boobs without looking tight in women’s but easy in men’s

men’s socks especially sports socks very often has a higher cotton content! Womens have high polyester content. It’s harder to find higher cotton content socks anymore anywhere now though!
