DS is 20 months and I just weighed him this morning - he's 2st 1lb (YIKES) that's approx 13kg. (just to say he's not fat but just tall and I don't know...err... heavy!). Anyway - want to get a lightweight stroller for holiday in 1 month. Looking at mothercare/mcLaren/Mamas&papas and they all say up to 15kg weight. Girl in Mothercare said not to bother worrying as everyone still goes in them when over that weight (ie when 3yrs etc). I don't want to spend £100 on something to find in 6 months it's no good. Should I worry about the fact that they say 15kg max or do you have your kiddies in them past that weight and all ok. Can you recommend a good lightweight stroller? The only one I can find is the M&P Aria that goes above 15kg but it doesn't umbrella fold. I know... I'm all a dither. Please any advice would help....

My ds is the same size, we have teh mothercare own 'Jive stroller' 34.99. For dd we had the 19.99 one though and that lasted ages.
