Hi,

I really don’t know what to buy her.

She is very fit 72 year old. She is fortunate to have the funds to buy whatever she likes.

She is a healthy eater, so no sweet etc. Not a big drinker. Always says not to buy anything for the house. Not to buy clothes.

What on earth can I get her?!

Things I've bought my mum in the past:

Enormous fluffy expensive bath sheet towels
A goose down duvet and topper
Cashmere scarf, these are gorgeous https://www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-cashmere-travel-wrap/aqua/p110474127 and they've just reduced them dammit!
A Chanel compact
A flower subscription (Arena flowers do pet friendly ones if she has cats or dogs)
Tickets to Highgrove / Highclere Castle / Chelsea Garden Show

This looks fantastic. I’ve just ordered one for my Mum’s birthday.

My elderly mum has recently moved into a care home, and I was thinking about doing her an 'about me' book as she was a bit muddled (still is 😔) and I wanted something to help the staff find things to talk about with her. I have done a fairly basic one, but I found this which feels more gifty. I'm really excited about it and I hope you and your mum enjoy it!

A PP suggested a key ring, I have the heart one of these from Georg Jensen, its lovely

Otherwise, new gym kit is great if she goes frequently as it can get a bit sad from frequent washing, so a new set is nice. Sweaty Betty, Lululemon, or M& S Goodmove are all really good quality. SB also have some nice gym bags.

If she does any mat work at the gym, a fancy mat spray might be a nice stocking filler.

Please help me think of a Christmas present for my lovely mum!

We are getting my mum a digital photo frame and hoping she likes it. We’ve had so many events this year so will be able to upload the photos on to that and then add more later.

This is a lovely idea!

Yeah, it feels like a really lovely gift to be able to treasure. I hope you and your Mum enjoy it too. 🥰
